What if someone were to open up a world of possibilities to you; from the mundane to the spectacular. Would it be possible to understand the difference? Would it truly matter? A forum is only as good as the participants and the subject matter. A blog is eternal. Especially an open ended blog.
All hyperbole aside I have quite a few regrets in my life and one of them is that from my perspective I have rarely given enough space and attention to my family, friends and any of the myriad others that I have come in contact with. I am very selfish. Yet, like most people I know, I am at my best when I am being unselfish. This is my light. This is the light bulb that beams above me when I am truly feeling it's source. This is my gift to you.
I have no expectations that any of this will mean a hill of beans to anyone, but it is my futile best to try. Also, understand that the structure of what I am trying to build here is laid upon sand and such edifices do not withstand the test of time. Still, we must proceed. Rome was neither built, nor burned, in a day they say.
I will initiate any subject (ANY SUBJECT) based upon my own idiosyncratic thoughts, or upon a thought you may have (email me at ebonkrieg@yahoo.com with your titillating ideas) and I will start a thread. This may become either an exercise in futility or an overwhelming task for which I will just throw my hands in the air and say, "good show, mate, but I'm out of here." I am hoping it will fall somewhere in between.
We are the sum of our parts. Individually, we are good (most of the time). Together, we can be great, or at least realize we can be. Civility and kindness are not required. However we react to each other, I am hoping it is with diligence and thought.
